Optimisation Strategist (Sydney or Melbourne)

Role: Senior Strategist – Optimisation

Reporting to the Optimisation Lead, you will spend your days building out A/B, Multi-variant, bandit testing frameworks that support businesses strategically create a hypothesis to put into market and then subsequently review the results. With a keen focus on all things digital, your world is full of iteration and how we run optimisation as a business practice to generate real ROI. 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

  • As a senior, you are happy to stand up and strategically own the client relationship for your field. Giving you the ability to guide an account with the other account services functions, whilst ensuring that your strategy and recommendations are adopted due to being seen as a key integral value cornerstone on the account. 
  • You understand end-to-end structures of work and can confidently define the inputs and outputs of key tasks, whilst looking at the process of work creation to iterate on it for perfection. This role supports the lead within the organization to ensure that roadmaps and developed and accounts are strategically managed. 
  • You are on the way to becoming a Subject Matter Expert, in fact you probably are almost there. However your next function of learning leans heavily to owning the process for work delivery with a shift from personal accomplishment to strategically recrafting the delivery of your work. 
  • You take ownership of your role and decisions, with partial responsibility of direct reports being possible. You still lean on management for your craft, however you are more so interested in how a craft is developed, positioned and iterated on for perfection.  
  • You are shifting away from personal celebrations, through to a group-based mentality. Which means you are looking to focus on leadership at a group level. The is important as you need to be happy to start stepping away from being “the one” as your next role would be to lead a team. 
  • You understand that you own the client roadmaps now, and you can confidently articulate where they are at any stage. Your focus on milestones opposed to tasks is becoming more important and you are starting to think about scalable practices opposed to singular ownership.   

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Identify opportunities to reach customers through emerging channels and work with the development team to prototype and implement new products in an iterative cycle. 
  • Support clients with their optimisation program, shifting from CRO into a culture of experimentation through product design and iteration. 
  • Develop robust measurement frameworks and methodologies for clients to understand their ROI for their business and problem. 
  • Run strategic testing programs using leading testing platforms and going a step further and understanding what it takes for an experiment to go live in market and how best to iterate on that approach. 
  • Approach to optimisation with a strategic and data driven mentality, that helps shape a framework for hypothesis experimentation. 
  • Strategically structure qualitative and quantative insights into a meaningful optimisation strategy that enables a goal to be achieved from the tactics you implement. 
  • Drive a culture of experimentation within an organization through your passion and knowledge of digital, whilst empowering people with the ability to make informed decisions based on learnings.

Mid-Weight Delivery Manager (Sydney and Melbourne)

Who you are

  • You have experience across many MarTech applications and have realised that most organisations have their own unique ‘stack’, so it’s important to be well versed across the landscape.
  • You are comfortable managing all aspects of delivering a successful outcome for a customer; project timelines, resource management, budget and financial tracking and stakeholder management.
  • Learning and improving on your skill base is important. You want to work with a team that is collaborative, open and focused on delivering results. At the same time, you’re not afraid to think differently, share your opinion, can challenge the status quo – and are prepared to back it up.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing or similar
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in client / project management – agency background is preferred
  • Training in Agile is preferable
  • Experience in marketing technology and execution within the technology.

Front-End Developer (Melbourne)

Do you have a passion for finding creative ways to solve technology problems? We’re looking for a versatile and proactive front end developer to help drive significant change across some of APAC’s most recognisable brands.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Front End Developer at The Lumery working with Senior Development Leads
  • Ownership and implementation of development, testing and delivery processes.
  • Key platforms of execution will be Marketing Orchestration tools e.g. Responsys, Exact Target and Adobe Campaign. Onsite testing tools e.g. Optimizely, Test and Target and Maxymiser.
  • Strong collaboration with Strategy and Client teams

Skills and Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
  • Proficient understanding of web and email markup, including HTML5, CSS3.

  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.

Data/Digital Analyst (Sydney or Melbourne)

Reporting to the Data and Analytics lead, the Digital Analyst will spend their days analysing large data sets using a variety of tools. There will be a key focus on developing and maintaining a reporting structure for the analytics and dashboard requests received from stakeholders on a regular basis, specifically:

  • Analyse large and complex data sets using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Create and structure dashboards within Adobe analytics, constantly ensuring they are displayed and configured in a way that drives the most value.
  • Manage incoming client requests for analysis on a daily basis. Part of your role will be to work with the Data and Analytics lead of the account to develop a structure for managing these requests that can be scaled and improved upon ongoing development.
  • Constantly searching for insights that drive real value to the client
  • Communicating your findings to key stakeholders to help drive commercial value on the account

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing data, finding insights, and developing recommendations to help clients create individualised cross-channel marketing experiences.
  • Developing a deep understanding of technology solutions that your recommendations will be implemented upon.
  • Consistently finding new ways to use marketing and advertising technology.
  • Delivering results in a dynamic environment – shifting priorities, developing innovative solutions to problems, balancing client deliverables and priorities effectively.
  • Working with the wider team (Project Managers, Developers, Senior Leadership etc.) to lead accounts and make sure the work gets done effectively, accounts are growing commercially and strategy is being followed.
  • Works with other parts of the business to embed strategy process into the approach and ensures that the role of strategy is well understood and adopted.
